Beauty On A Small Budget
The biggest barriers to redecorating are cost and time. CIL wanted to prove to consumers that, with CIL paint and primer, that doesn’t have to be the case.
With the “Beauty on a Small Budget” campaign, DDB wanted to demonstrate that everyone can afford to have a beautiful home. The campaign was supported through a miniature room makeover, online tips and tools for consumers, and a social media challenge to show consumers that redecorating can be simple, stress-free and affordable.
Our efforts yielded remarkable results in the paint sales arena, boasting a significant 23% surge in dollar value alongside an impressive 26.8% spike in sales volume. Launching our campaign, we surpassed initial sales targets, achieving a phenomenal doubling effect.
The impact of our initiatives extended online, garnering an incredible 7.6 million views for the captivating CIL makeover video. Moreover, our contests generated widespread attention, amassing over 25 million media impressions from a diverse pool of over 100 contest entries.
